Erik Neldner was born in Huntington, New York in 1966. His first photographs were taken as part of a 10th grade literary project, which featured a series of images captured at a local mental institution. He studied experimental/non narrative film with Ken Jacobs at SUNY Binghamton, before going on to study Television, Radio and Film production at Syracuse University. Erik spent a good number of years working as a location scout and manager for the film industry before devoting himself soley to the art and business of photography in 2004.

Erik currently lives in Needham Massachusetts with his wife Nicole and their three amazing children.
